The school community of Jamboree Heights has received funding for a chaplain to support students and families. The school chaplain is employed through Scripture Union and operates under the umbrella of the Centenary District Caplaincy Committee, which incorporates a cluster of five local schools. The chaplain is a counsellor / friend to students, who works with groups in a monitoring role, establishing a relationship with students at risk, organises and participates in lunch-time activities, supports leadership programs, participates in school functions and activities that enhance the school's values education program. |
