Jamboree Heights State School

Mandarin Chinese is taught to all Year 4, 5, 6 and 7 students at Jamboree Heights State School. The emphasis is on oral communication but the course also includes calligraphy, tai chi, and Chinese culture.

Students also have an opportunity to participate in activities such as a Chinese Writing Competition, a Poetry Competition, and a visit to a Chinese restaurant.
